Suggest Treatment For Panic Attack And GAD

Hello my age is 45, 5'3 and 108....starting in March of this year, I went to hospital in the middle of the night thinking I was having a heart attack, they diagnosed me panic attacks and GAD, was admitted and had nuclear stress test to rule out heart problems, all was normal... after several doctors later and a month or so, I am currently taking Lexapro and Xanax XR .5mg after trying 3 other SSRI's...since March I have lost 8 or so pounds, increased bowel movements, heart palpitations, nervous, etc... I have researched over and over and I think I have hyperthyroidism..my PCP drew TSH and FSH which they said fell within normal range...was wondering what other in depth tests can be done? It is driving me crazy and I never feel good

Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

It is common to have multiple unexplained symptoms and feeling of craziness in anxiety and panic disorder. But in your case you are already under treatment with medications (Lexapro, Xanax and SSSRI's).

Your several medical tests are already normal. In my view do not go for further testing and wait for sometime as medicines take 2-6 weeks to show good improvement.

Wishing you good health and all the best.
