General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Seems catheter-related urinary tract infection most likely.

* In my clinic, I do recommend urine culture report if the discomfort persists beyond 24 hours of antibiotic and urinary alkaliser therapy.

Drink more liquids for best recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
