Suggest Treatment For Painful Shingles

I have shingles and was in June given some ibubrofen tables to reduce pain. I have not used ibuprufen since August. I have arthritis and take 665mg of panadol osteo per day. The pain from the shingles is debilitating. Any suggestions? Sincerely, Charlotte.
