Suggest Treatment For Painful Itchy Red Bumps On The Neck , Ear And Scalp

Hello every time I feel run down I develope a sore on my cheek that is very painful, red and itchy. I have had this sore about 5-6 times in the past 3 years and will usually go away in 7-10 days leaving a scar. Smaller blisters will develope around it. This started 5 days ago and know I m getting sores around my hairline, scalp, neck, behind ears, sides of the face and arms. They look different from the sore on my face. They are very red and burn. If I scratch them a clear liquid comes out. Some of them are larger than others and harder than others. They look like chicken pox and some of them are leaving scars but more are developing. I don t know if these new sores are related to the one in my cheek or if its something completely different. I had chicken pox as a child so I do not think its that . What could it be? Please help me

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Folliculitis is a bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
Please meet a dermatologist and request to do culture and sensitivity test on pus obtained from the lesion for exact diagnosis.
Once the exact bacteria is known, specific treatment can be given.
Improper use of antibiotic can lead to resistance.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
