Suggest Treatment For Painful Intercourse

Hello, i hope i can get some help with my question, so last night me and my boyfriend tried getting intimate, this would be my first time, i was relaxed and comfortable with him and felt as if i was ready, so we got in a position and we had difficulties trying to get inside, he pushed really hard but it kept slipping downward and caused a lot of pain, so we just stopped, it was disapointing so he just used his hand, and he was getting rough down there and i went to the bathroom in the morning and it burned to urinate, but i really don t know what to do about getting his thing in me, any suggestions or advice?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
See, painful intercourse or dyspareunia is a symptom which can be due to many causes. It can be both physiological and pathological. Trying for the first time can be difficult sometimes and gradually it becomes comfortable for both partners. I would ask you to try further and if still it is painful, you can consult a gynaecologist.
Also for the burning urination part, it is common after rough sex, but chances of infection can't be ruled out. So if it persists, you might need antibiotics and avoid sex for some days.

Hope this was useful.
Regards
