Suggest Treatment For Painful Bumps On Scalp, Stiff Neck And Neck Lump

I have 2 painful bumps that came up on my scalp yesterday. Today I have a stiff neck and found a lump about the size of a marble on the front base side of my neck. All of this in on one side. I m out of town and can t see my Dr. until next week. What should I do?

I understand your concern.
It could be due to excess pus collection under the skin surface due to which you are having painful bumps or it could be lymph node enlargement due to some infection .Will need personal examination by a doctor.
For the time being you can take some analgesic tablet like crocin and follow up with local doctor for opinion and clinical examination.
