Suggest Treatment For Painful Bruises On The Right Ankle
I have large bruises around my right ankle and leg from a bicycle accident last Sunday. Today the large bruise just above my ankle (on my leg) was hurting and when I touched it, there is a lump. It is turning red (it was blue from the bruise) and warm to the touch. I m guessing it is a hematoma, but why the color change and tenderness after 6 days?

An infection is in place since no precautions were taken after the injury to prevent and will need a course of antibiotics.I suggest you see a Doctor for examination.If a hematoma or pus in it, it should be drained.In the main time, pain/antiinflammatory medications like ibuprofen will help to relief you.
