Suggest Treatment For Painful Bowel Movements With Awful Smell And Gas

I have been suffering with bowel pain and very smelly poop and also full of smelly gas, I have a pain low down of my left side and my pelvic area feels swollen have taken a course of amoxycill/clav and the pain and smell stopped however 2 days after stopping the amoxycill/clav the pain and smell in my poop came back. They have now put me on a course of Flagyl I have only been taking it for 24 hours and it has given me really bad constipation and a lot of pain low down in pelvis find it really difficult to pass gas as well but when I can feel a little better however the feeling I get is that I really need to empty my bowel but can't was thinking of taking Coloxyl with senna at bedtime to try and get rig of the constipation. I had bowel operation for diverticular 20 years ago and ever since I have many bowel problems with lots of antibiotic treatment over the years.

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be the disease condition but it seems to be due to dyspepsia and it may not need any treatment and I would suggest to stop the antibiotic if your are ever having this because without the indication of infection it is not advisable to have it, neither it is to be worried about the passing of stool, care needs to be taken for diet, hope this information helps.
