General & Family Physician 's  Response
short answer:
bacterial infection

Detailed Answer:
Boils appear due to bacterial infection. best treatment to relieve the pain immediately is to visit your doctor and get it drained (a procedure called incision & drainage). These infections require antibiotic treatment for 7 to 10 days (best is combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid) and a pain killer. i advice you to visit your nearby doctor and get it drained.

please feel free to ask if you need any more assistance.
