Suggest Treatment For Painful Back, Dizziness And Sweating Post Injury

Hi, last night I slipped walking down the stairs missing the last couple of steps landing sharply on my right lower back. When I landed at the bottom of the stairs, I tried to move I was in so much pain that I started to break out in sweats, I was nauseous, and I felt like I was going to faint. Now everytime I try to stand up I break out in sweats and feel faint. My lower back is very soar and everytime I move my legs I feel a sharp stabbing pain in my back, I become dizzy and start to breakout in sweats. Once I lay down, the sweats stop and I no longer feel dizzy. Can you tell me what is happening and what I should do?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I think you got vagovagal shock due to pain and due to shock (low blood pressure)you feel digginess and sweating. It can be prevented by taking analgesic such as ibuprofen round the clock. When it occurs you have to lie down and keep your legs (Lower limb) elevated so that available blood go to brain .You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
