Hi & Welcome.
I appreciate your concern for your mom.
She needs pain medication and encourage to eat a fat-free diet.

The pain due to gall stones ('biliary colic") can be relieved by antispasmodic drugs like Dicyclomine with anti-inflammatory medications such as Diclofenac or Mefenemic acid. If pain is severe she may need opioid analgesics like Tramadol or Pethidine which are prescription based medications.

Antiemetics such as Metoclopramide or Deomperidone may also be given if she gets vomiting.

Regarding the diet restrictions, she should avoid the following:

1. Foods that are fried, like french fries and potato chips.
2. High-fat meals, such as red meat, meat gravies, liver, eggs, creamy soups or sauces, pizza, etc.
3. High-fat dairy products, such as cheese, ice cream, cream, chocolates, whole milk, and sour cream.
4. Whole milk products (butter, regular cheese, ice cream, etc.

Since she seems to have multiple gall stones and is constantly suffering from pains, she needs to undergo surgery to remove the gallbladder (cholecystectomy). This procedure can be done through small incisions using an instrument called a laparoscope.

It is the most widely used, effective and safe treatment & it usually requires only a brief stay in the hospital, and some people can leave the hospital the same day they have their operation.

Hope the advice given above would be useful in getting her treatment.
Wishing you mom a speedy and complete recovery.
