Hi...
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
As per your complain pain under the jaw can be due to :
1. It can be due to infection or inflammation in the submandibular
salivary gland which is a major salivary gland present under the jaw or can also be due to obstruction in the duct of the gland and the pain can radiate to ear and head on same side..
2.It can also be due to inflamed
lymph nodes if you have any recent history or any active ongoing infection in head and neck region..
3.It can also be due to inflamed gum flap around the wisdom tooth caused secondary to infection and can also cause the similar symptoms..
You should consult a Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like a full mouth x-ray, cross sectional x ray and MRI of the salivary glands can help in confirming the diagnosis and planning an appropriate treatment..
As of now you can take
Ibuprofen if pain is moderate and for
severe pain Tramadol can be taken for relief..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
