Suggest Treatment For Pain In Throat
My outside neck/throat near my voice box is very tender to the touch...it has been for approx 1 week....now today I started getting a sore throat on the inside near where the pain is on the outside. I do not drink or smoke....an suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

The pain could be due to infection in the pharynx and the lymph node (lymphadenitis). You will require antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine such as ibuprofen or diclofenac. Drink plenty of warm water; avoid coffee/spicy food/chilled food and beverages and smoking, if any.
