Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Throat While Sneezing And Swallowing

every time I sneeze, the back of the roof of my mouth hurts really badly. it hurts so badly I can t swallow and can t breathe out of my nose. also when I sneeze, rather than anything coming out of my nose, it comes out of my mouth. is there a reason for this or a way to make it stop?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are having allergic rhinitis problem along with post nasal drip. So, whenever you sneeze mucus might come out from mouth. You can be prescribed Montelukast or Levocetirizine like decongestant for it. Drink lukewarm water and take one tsp turmeric powder with milk daily.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
