Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Ears While Having Furuncle Infection

Hi doc ..I have several pain in my ears ,,had been to doc she said it s furuncle..and kept a dressing in my ears and gave me polyclav 625 tab and oflox drops twice,she kept some dressing in my ear,now I see some whitish cotton isha thing in ear..the pain in my ears has noto reduced..she prescribed me divon plus..Oly if I have dat tablet 3 times a day..pain reduces else it doesnt

Hi,

Furukle is a hair root infection causing pain, inflammation &collection of pus (boil). Treatment consists of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs & cleaning.

Divine plus is an anti-inflammatory drug &helps to cure when given with suitable antibiotic. You should continue to Divorce. with the antibiotics advised earlier. If that doesn't set the infection.if not see your doctor.

-Check your blood sugar levels & keep them controlled.
-May need change of antibiotics after a culture & sensitivity test.
