Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi there.

You could have developed muscle spasm or stretching of the ligaments. I advise you to avoid exercising for a while. Give rest to the area. Apply hot water bottle to the painful area. It will take you atleast 4-6 weeks for the relief to be expected. You can consult your Orthopaedic surgeon for proper diagnosis and management.
