Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Arch On The Right Foot

I dropped 3 card table chairs on my right foot (fell out of the back of the van when lifting the trunk). the pain eventually went away after 5 days but then 2 weeks later....the rubbing against my boot agitated the area and because my foot has a high arch the pain has returned. It hurts to lift my foot up, I can tolerate it but it is painful. This has been in affect for 1 week and has not got any better. Should I go see my family doctor - perhaps physio will improve it?

Hi dear... you must be having areally painful foot there...I would suggest a simple x ray to rule out any hairline fracture. If theres no fracture, then continue using the painkiller sprays , if your already on any diclofenac, linseed, menthol spray for relieve pain. Get yourself a crepe bandage and wind it around your foot in the figure of 8.Try not to walk too much around or apply pressure over the area. But you can get back to back...
I hope this answers your question dear.Do get back to me if you have more queries.
Take care.
