Suggest Treatment For Pain In Stomach And Lower Back

My husband is experiencing stomack pains and lower back pain. He was at Urgent Care earlier, and the urine sample indicated a possible kidney stone. The pain receded after he vomited 3 times. He ate dinner, and the pain is back. Heat helps a little bit.

Hi,

Kidney stone should be further investigated (x-ray or USG) for its size & site.

Treatment depends on that.

-Small sized stones can be expelled by medi cones like Cystone over the counter along with drinking ample of water.

For pain medicine like Dicloran over the counter helps. Big stones need to be removed either by lithotripsy/surgically. Consult a kidney specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
