Suggest Treatment For Pain In Sinus Cavity Radiating Towards Ear And Neck

This is the second time I have had this problem. First time was about 8 years ago and lasted about 9 months, and disappeared randomly after a routine sinus surgery. It is very strange and makes no anotomical sense to me, but when I breathe through my nose, I get pain in my right sinus cavity (cheekbone area) that radiates into my ear, then down my neck, starting right behind and below my ear, very close to the jaw, like maybe the eustachian tube and down almost to my shoulder. It also branches off from my neck and radiates to the base of my skull (I always have a large muscle spasm in that area that never goes away) and it will sometimes go half way up the back of my head. It is so painful at times, it is hard to function. I have spoke to my Internal Medicine doctor and was told it wasn t possible and that was it. Any suggestions?
