Suggest Treatment For Pain In Larynx Area In Smokers

Hi, I am a 41 year old female who smokes. About two months ago I started to feel a sharp pin like pain in my throat (larynx area) when I inhale cigarette smoke. The pain is in the right side of my neck and really a sharp pain that would only come when I was smoking. Since then I have been trying to quit smoking but I still have soreness in that area. Can this be Larynx Cancer?
