Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Pain in the elbow following injury could be due to injury to the ligament.
However, to rule out any injury to bones or soft tissues, kindly get X-ray of elbow AP and Lateral view.
You can take Tablet. Diclofenac, Paracetamol with Chloroxasone combination twice a day for 5 days after food. Also, locally you can apply pain reliever gel containing Diclofenac twice daily for 5 days.
You need to apply ice pack to the joint so that the injury would heal fast.
Give adequate rest to the elbow by not lifting weight for 15 days.
In case you find bony or soft tissue injury in X-ray, you need to consult Orthopedician for further evaluation and management.
Otherwise, your symptoms should subside with above mentioned treatment.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
Wish you all the best and speedy recovery.
