Suggest Treatment For Pain In Back, Shoulder And Arm

i have been experiencing pain from my upper back shoulder and the pain is extending to my arm.the pain is associated with heat and it only gets relived alittle wwhen i strech my hand out.i have tried to take Ibuprufen but it oly relieves pain for a little while then the pain comes back on.this i have experienced for 8 days...is there need to see a physician for this?
