Hi

Coming to your symptoms, the following are few probable causes that I can think of:
1) Angina
2) Cervical spondylitis pain
3) Thoracic outlet syndrome: This is a very rare entity and is caused mostly due to trauma
4) Presence of an extra rib
5) Shoulder impingement syndrome
6) Brachial plexus neuropathy

Among the above mentioned conditions, we must first rule out angina or cardiac causes. So to rule out angina:
1) ECG
2) 2D echo are necessary

To rule out other causes:
a) Thorough clinical examination
b) X-ray
c) CT scan or MRI

One thing is certain that it's not related to seizures unless you had an injury at shoulder or upper chest level during the episodes of seizure.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
