Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the last 2 weeks I have been having pain in my right arm from just below the shoulder to the elbow. The pain seems to pulsate from three points - from just below the shoulder to half way down and arounf the elbow area. This pain seems to radiate from the front part of the upper arm. I use a stationary rowing machine on a low resitance and this pain seemed to start after 3 months of using the machine - but I cannot be sure. I have stopped using the machine fpr 1 week and the pain seems to have subsided somewhat. Can you tell me what this might be? Thank you
The symptoms seem to be related to an overuse of the muscles. I suggest using muscle relaxant such as Baclofen three times a day. I also suggest magnesium supplements for relieve.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care

Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
