Suggest Treatment For Pain In Achilles Tendon After Injury

I was playing tennis and came to an abrupt stop and felt that my leg was pushed down past where it should have stopped. I felt pain but of course kept on playing. About two hours later my achilles tendon is aching no matter how I lay it and it is hard to walk.

Hi,

Your concern is about pain in achilis tendon. See, in muscle gastrocnemius end part is known as tendon, if it got injury may be acute or chronic can be treated very well with physiotherapy treatment. In case of inflammation, physiotherapy modalities like ultrasound and laser play a key role. Ultrasound and laser used to treat soft tissue injury and inflammation. So you must take at least 10 sessions of ultrasound and laser therapy for pain reduction.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
