I am 8 weeks post surgery, rectocele, cystocele and partial hysterectomy with a sling placement for incontinence. After being cleared for intercourse, it was too painful, anterior prickly pain upon insertion. I don t know if this is the scar tissue area that just needs to stretch out or we waited an additional week to see if more healing needed to occur, it was still painful. Do I need to do something else to help this situation? We used lubricant, it did not help the pain. My doctor mentioned that I may have bleeding upon intercourse, is this what she was referring to?? Do I need to endure this pain until I bleed?
