Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

With the medical history, she is not supposed to run and apply full weight bearing on the injured limb. The act of walking and running has lead to pain. For now, stabilize the lower limb on a pillow while she is lying down. Post this use icing for the lower back as the anesthetic effect will help reduce the pain. Don't allow her to walk or run until the x-ray shows healing. Any disturbance in the healing may lead to abnormal symptoms of which one she is having. She should be fine post removal of the cast and with simple exercises.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
