Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
You have got injury to knee which already has reconstruction of acl 4 years back. Pain with swelling and difficulty in bending the knee might be due to tear of reconstructed anterior cruciate ligament or recent meniscus injury. This must not be neglected. I would like to advise mri of involved knee to confirm diagnosis. Visit radiology center nearby you and get it done. Meanwhile wear long knee extension brace and avoid bending and taking weight on involved limb. Apply ice packs to reduce swelling. You need to consult expert arthroscopic surgeon with mri report. All the best.
