Suggest Treatment For Pain And Pressure Below The Rib Cage

What could be causing me to have trembling underneath lower left ribcage with constant pressure and sometimes pain. Also blurred vision and feels like pressure in jugular....all symptoms on left side. Been having all symptoms except jugular pressure for a week straight and have had them a few times in the past year. Jugular pressure just started yesterday. Thank you in advance.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Cardiac issues should be ruled out in your case by doing an ECG (EKG). A chest X-ray also should be taken.

If all these are clear then it can be due to diaphragmatic irritation or gastritis.

In such a case taking a combination of antiemetic like Domperidone and proton pump inhibitors like Esomeprazole will be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nishad BN, General & Family Physician
