Suggest Treatment For Pain And Irritation While Urinating

Hi, i had pain & irritation while urinating for a couple of weeks , urgent urination often . now when urinating i can see blood clots at the beginning of urine every time. i am afraid . whether it might be cancer or something else. what to do .

Hello

Pain and irritation during urination may be due to UTI(urinary tract infection),genito urinary calculus etc.Blood clots in urine may be due to these conditions.
You may need clinical evaluation and few investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,renal function test,urine RE/ME and ultrasound of abdomen.
Urine RE and ME will exclude UTI.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.You may need few more specific tests after evaluation.
You should drink plenty of water.
