Ho.This may be due to acute infection in the nose - Rhinitis and Sinusitis with Otitis Media. He needs to be changed to another antibiotic , get the relevant tests of blood done. Add on anti-inflammatory Medicines and antihistamine and a painkiller . This may take a few days to few weeks before the problem is completely resolved.

Its been 5 days that I am taking these medicines, however pain has increased and I don t feel any improvement. Also I am unable to hear properly from my affected ear. Pain is unbearable without a pain killer. How to proceed on this?
Hello. I have an ear infection that has been very painful for about a week. I feel that the nerves are inflamed. I can feel the pain in my teeth and down my neck. The Steroids (Prednisone) has helped somewhat but it still has a very painful feel to it. I am also on Omnicef for the infection. I am using a heating pad but I really need this to be gone. Help me please.
I ve had an ear infection/ache for about 1 week now. The pain is excruciating but I wanted to save money. Blood has started to leak out of my ear now, not much, just a slow steady flow. The pain it seems is getting worse and now I get cold chills and vertigo.
My 9-month old baby has had several bacterial eye infections since she was born which are a result of dacryostenosis (that's what we've been told). She has her nasolacrimal canal treated with probing 4 times, it's getting better and we're applying dexamethasone + neomycin eyedrops. Are these eyedrops safe for a 9 month baby?
