Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Paget's disease of vulva is a pre-neoplastic condition.
It shows changes in the lining epithelium of the skin of vulva which are precursors of squamous cell carcinoma.
The punch biopsy should be followed be excision of the lesion (usually white colored patch).
The sample should be sent for histopathological examination with comment on the margins.
Removal of the diseased epithelium with clear margins clears the disease for all practical purposes.
No further treatment is required in case the lesion turns out to be pagets disease.
Consult your gynecologist for further management.

Thanks and take care
