Suggest Treatment For Osteoarthritis

After osteoarthritis diagnose in my left knee I had the 4 shot Othrovisc series injection in April 2014 however, I put a nice pack on the knee approx three weeks ago about and notice red bruises around the outer area of the knee? Why? I am a Black American female just turned 56 years still working, pretty healthy & active.

I have studied your case.
This can delayed reaction to injection therapy.
There is another possibility of skin involvement due to infection.

For these symptoms analgesic medication can be started.
Take rest and consult your doctor if no relief.
Till time you can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.

Precaution to be taken
Activity modifications-avoid squatting, avoid cross leg sitting on floor, and reduce stair climbing.
Weight reduction is very important to prevent progression.
Do daily exercises and stretches.
Diet rich in calcium and vitamin D will help to reduce progression.
