Hi Doctor I have an orthopedic question I am a 51 year old who was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the knee. Went to a doctor ruled out I did not need a knee replacement, instead he suggested a orthoscopic cleaning of the knee and tears. I finally three months later am ready for the procedure. But now he is saying I need a knee replacement is needed. Could the knee get worse in three months?
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. Consult an orthopedic and plan for an MRI for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
