hello I would like to describe the scenario do try and diagnose what happened to me. I popped what I thought was a pimple or possible herpes but it was on my cheek away from lips. I continued to mess with it and put a styptic pencil on the bleeding wound to stop it. I noticed an instant hardening of skin where I used the styptic pencil, I thought I caused a rash or irritation because of this. I the also tried using abreeva not sure if it was a herpes cold sore. Its been 5 days now and over night I use skin cream but doesn t seem to be getting better. its an open sore on my cheek and im not sure if its an infection or herpes.
