Suggest Treatment For Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

A 40 year old, diabetic man I have known for more than 10 years has started behaving strangely. He is obsessing about which clothes to wear ( can t wear a shirt that has been in contact with another shirt or takes half an hour to choose a tie). He is also behaving inappropriately (laughing during a wedding ceremony, ignoring guests...). Could there be a physical cause?

Hello,

I don't think there would be a physical cause. Still, you should fix up an appointment with a psychologist to rule out things.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
