Suggest Treatment For Numbness On The Toe

Hi my big toe on my left foot has been sort of numb the past 2 days and I had very minor pain on it for a few minutes just once. Even though my big toe feels numb it does not feel completely numb it s more like a numbing sensation but I can still feel everything. What do you think it is?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Welcome
The most common cause of toe numbness is direct compression of the nerves of the foot from footwear. Numbness of the toe can occur because of injury to the foot, nerve damage (neuropathy), and poor circulation to the foot (such as with diabetes and peripheral vascular disease)
You have to see physician to rule out this.
Take care
