Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Forearm
Hi Have tingling and numbness also heating of upper area of right fore-arm, started 2days after 10 days in hospital due to RTA and treatment for pneumonia (contracted abroad) no inflammation or lumps. No injuries with RTA only bruise to right collar-bone caused by seat belt .Area on top of thumb joint and 4 inches of fore-arm affected. Stared 2 months ago.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have numbness and tingling sensation in the forearm because of nerve impingement or pressure on ulnar nerve . Need not to worry about it. Visit neurologist once and get it examined to rule out nerve compression , neuralgia , carpal tunnel , cervical spondylosis or other conditions like neuropathy. Go for physical therapy of forearm muscles. Avoid lifting heavy objects and working for long time with that arm . If it is not due to nerve and due to deficiency of minerals and vitamins . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon .It could be related to stroke. Neurotropic medication such as nerve supplement , methylcobalamin is effective to improve your symptoms. Doctor may also refer you to neurologist .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
