Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Fingers And Toes

My symptoms match Raynaud s Phenomenon exactly. I noticed symptoms a few years ago and they have gradually progressed over the past few years. My fingers turn numb and a white discoloration that sometimes looks blueish followed with burning and tingling of the fingers and toes and sometimes swelling. It can be very discomforting and is very frequent usually caused by cold weather and or straining or vibrating from tools or other devices and at times symptoms seem to be triggered by stress. My question is, I take 15mg oxycodone for a separate injury and I have noticed that when I have severe symptoms they can be reversed simply by taking one or two om my oxycodone pills. I am guessing the oxycode must effect the contraction of arteries which allows the blood to flow. So back to my question. Is oxycodone a known treatment to help the effects of Raynaud s Phenomenon? and are there other drugs helpful in treating severe symptoms of Raynaud s Phenomenon?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a physician and get evaluated.

We have to rule out possible causes like peripheral neuropathy.

Detailed evaluation is required including nerve conduction study to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
