Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Tingling On Knee

I am a high school wrestler and while we were playing a game for a warm up I fell, upon falling my knee struck the wrestling may quite hard and stopped my body s forward momentum. The pain that followed was intense and I thought I was going to throw up. On the inside of my knee cap is numb and tingles when I touch it the rest of my knee is fairly tender to the touch and doesn t hurt unless touched but hurts so bad when it is that I have to stop and wait for it to subside, not really sure what to do or best course of action

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
seems some injury to the medial meniscus, get checked by a good Ortho surgeon and first get to know the exact cause, minor tears may resolve on their own, use knee cap for about a month 24x7 removing it when you fold that knee only. to a bare 5-10 min per day maximum after confirming there is no fluid in your knee joint. go according to the advice of a good Ortho surgeon
