Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Stiffness In An Entire Limb After A Fall

I fell down my stairs a few days ago and landed on my wrist very hard. It doesn t necessarily hurt, it just has mild swelling and my for arm, wrist, hand, and fingers (especially my thumb) are very numb and stiff. It also pops very loud if i move it a certain way. I also have veins popping out and twitching randomly. Could it be broken?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you got injury to your wrist. It is most probably sprain to wrist. However fracture can be ruled out by x ray wrist. Treatment of it is rest to joint by splint and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain. Vitamin B and C help in recovery. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help me.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
