Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Soreness In The Toe

I m completely exhausted. If I try to do anything I find I just can t. My right big toe is very cold and sometimes a little sore and i feel a sort of numbness in fourth toe (counting the big toe). My doctor says my thyroid is underactive and I m on 50mg of thyroid medicine. The exhaustion is what i need to fix.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
It takes being on the thyroid medication for several months for your energy to return to normal. Other things you can do to help this are taking a multivitamin daily, taking a B50 vitamin in the mornings, drinking plenty of water, avoiding sugary foods, starches (bread, pasta, potatoes and rice) and sodas. All of these foods will worsen your fatigue.
Walking 30 minutes daily will also help with your energy. Make sure you get plenty of sleep.
If the toe coldness and numbness does not resolve in a month or so then see your doctor again for an exam
Regards
