Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Red Spots In The Legs

How do I know if I have a good foot in my leg? My left foot is and has been numb for about 2 months my lower leg is swollen and is now turning purple and red spots like a bruise with in. It hurts and I m now feeling it in my left arm which now I feel pins and needles in and is going numb at my fingers. Then I sometimes will have a siren pain from left arm over to my chest. YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Swollen leg turning purple means bad blood circulation. This is causing your foot to get numb. Should consult immediately with your primary physician and run a few tests to determine what is causing swelling and its turning blue.

Strain pain on your left arm over your chest most probably is due to muscular-skeletal problems or related to spinal vertebrae dislocation. However, cardiac issues should be ruled out through cardiac tests (EKG, echocardiogram, Doppler ultrasound of blood vessels in the legs and chest and neck).

Urine analysis; kidney/liver/pancreas function tests to rule out related problems. Talk to your primary physician as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
