Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. These are suggestive of focal dystonia, also called as writer's cramp.

There are good medications available for treating this condition, such as trihexiphenidyl and tetrabenazine tablets. Those who do not improve with tablets, can be treated with botox injections.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Best wishes,
