Welcome on HCM! I understand your concern and would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a careful physical exam and some tests: - a new nerve conduction study - HbA1C levels to make the proper adjustements to antidiabetic therapy, in case this test is altered. Further tests may be needed to investigate for other possible causes of neuropathy. You should know that polyneuropathy is a common complication of diabetes. It is necessary to treat well diabetes in order to stop the progression of the disease. Physiotherapy is also helpful. Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes, Dr. Aida
