Suggest Treatment For Neck Pain

My 5 year old son came home from school today and said his neck hurt, which I assumed was his throat. I got my phone with the light, looked inside to see if it was red, and seen a pinkish and whitish thing with veins, popping up from behind his tongue. Almost looked like it was coming up from his throat. His tonsils look a little swollen and have some yellow spots on them. From what I could find, it seems is his epiglottis. Am I correct, and is there anything I should be worried about? Does he need to see a doctor?

Hi,

Definitely, you need to see doctor.

Till then you can take steam inhalation, tab levo-cetirizine, antibiotics by prescription of your doctor.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.
