Suggest Treatment For Neck Pain, Nasal Drip & Constipation

Hi, I am male 25yrs old. My body feels like it has been slowly failing over the past year ever since I injured my neck in a diving accident. Since then, my symptoms have gone from hardly noticeable (besides the neck pain of course) to unbearable and constant. Post nasal drip, irritable bowels (constipation, diarrhea, narrow stools, trips to the bathroom 3-6times daily sometimes more) I also feel like my food or parts of it are getting caught in the top of my esophagus above my thyroid area. Severe neck and upper shoulder pain, as well as chest pains below and to the left of my heart. I don t know if it matters but prior to the injury perhaps congenitally I tend to have an irregular heart beat (skipping a beat) and muscle spasms horizontally accross my chest into my left armpit and upper bicep . Lastly I have very poor circulation too my legs, as well as a blueish bulging veins in my calves. I dont know whats relevant and what is not but i am terrified that my body is shutting down

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your query being appreciated, you seems to have multiple complaints and these are not related with the history of accident you had gone through but more or less it seems to be fibromyalgia. It is a kind of psychological illness. Ideally it has to be examined by psychiatrist, but on a tentative basis. Gabapentin can be tried. Try to come out of stress, exercise is best, control negative thoughts.

Hope this information helps, take care.
