General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It seems you have developed an upper respiratory tract infection. Anti-allergic medications are not going to work in your case and you need to take an antibiotic. Azithromycin and Levofloxacin work well in upper respiratory tract infections. You can discuss this with your physician. In addition, you should do warm betadine gargles at least twice daily. For the nausea you can take an antacid like tab ranitidine for a few days on empty stomach. If the symptoms don't subside get a blood culture done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman,
