Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My girlfriend for the past 4 days has experienced frequent nausuea and vomiting. Symptoms started with nausuea vomiting body aches cold chills and hot flashes, now symptoms are just the frquent nasuea and vomiting and what ever she eats it comes right back up even something as simple as a cracker. She has no abdominal pain.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.
Some advice that I can give to you is: -Drink a large amount of clear fluids to remain hydrated, but consumes it in small sips at a time. -Avoid solid foods of any kind until vomiting stops. -Avoid using medications that may upset your stomach, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or corticosteroids. -Take rest
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
