Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain pain on the side of nose along with swelling and extension of swelling to cheeks seems to be due to Sinus infection or sinusitis as the maxillary sinuses lies in close approximation to the nose and below the cheekbones..
It can also be due to dental related problem like dental infection, abscess etc while allergic reaction can also be a cause..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case of sinus infection antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers, anti allergics, decongestants, saline nasal irrigation and steam inhalations can be advised..
In case of dental related issues treatment of the same along with antibiotics and anti inflammatory painkillers can help..
Allergies can be treated with an anti allergics and steroids..
As of now you can take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, anti allergics like benadryl and do cool compresses over the swelling area.

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have nasal pain and severe inflammation which is because of sinusitis where infection can travel down the respiratory tract and affected whole area and leads to granular pharyngitis. The symptoms can also occur due to allergic reaction . I would suggest you to again consult your ENT specialist for proper examination. He/she may prescribe further antibiotic course and stronger antibiotics. Take combination of amoxicillin along with Levocetrizine. You should put xylomist nasal drops to prevent congestion. You should take chicken soup along with along with lemon tea. Take diet rich in vitamin C. Take decongestant nasal sprays containing mucinex for instant relief. Doctor may also order nasal endoscopy in case of nasal polyp and recommend surgical removal of nasal polyp.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best wishes,
